Hmmm.... not related imho.

Fat can be a synth with a bunch of phase locked suboctaves...
VERY fat sound but zero warmth

Warm could be a synth with two or more oscillators slowly
beating... but that could be very subtle and not 'fat' at all...

We need to come up with standard terms like the wine snobs use...
