That's strange because I heard a difference, too. So much so that I'm
surprised everyone doesn't hear it!

Brightness. If it's not too much trouble, can you post the link to the sound
file again. I'd like to listen on headphones and to be sure the difference
was as pronounced as I recall. If it is, then I worry that people aren't
observing proper precautions to preserve their hearing.
Those don't matter, because those have nothing to do with jitter.
