[sdiy] DX7 Patch Files

Hi Scott,

I have no idea what program you are referring to, but since the dx7 has a
finite parameter set (relatively small, looking at the sysex it spits out), you
could try hacking the data you have with a hex-editor. Once figured out what
data belongs to what parameter, it would be relatively easy to code some script
to convert the data to a "librarian-readeable" format.

If coding is not your cup of tea, here's some links sorted by mac/pc archit.

MAC:
http://www.tcp-ip.or.jp/~setsu/dx7.html (DX7 Librarian)

PC:
http://www.fm-alive.com/ (DX SX Manager)
http://www.myjavaserver.com/~christopher/software.html (lots of software)
http://www.bobhug.com/SynC/DXG.html (DX7 implemented in Reactor, has librarian)
Our own Marc Bareille: http://m.bareille.free.fr/synlibdxtx/synlibdxtx.htm

GENERAL/BOTH:
http://www.squest.com/Windows/Instruments/dx7/ (MidiQuest)

So there, plenty of sites to surf, I hope this helps a bit.
