There is significant sound difference between DX9, DX7, DX7s, DX7II
the TG77,TX82, DX11, and all the different sound chips for sound blaster
cardalike cards.Different DAC resolution from 8 to 16 bits, different DAC
types, then diffrent FM implementation on the chips. OP amp plays a absolute
**minimum** of role to the sound here! (not to forget the GS1 and the latest
models.)

What sound on sound is saying about the dac is bogusly wrong,
earliest DX7 had 10bit DAC.

I find the UI of the FM7 a pain in the arse compared to a TG77 with editor!
Why the hell did they do it like the old DX5? Its even worser then the old DX5!
