As any audiophile will be happy to tell you (over and over), feedback
loops are
a Bad Thing, and Ben Franklin knew this and that is why he decreed that
electrons
are to flow in one direction only on a schematic.
However, sneaky amp designers have figured out how to implement feedback
by having the electrons pass through wormholes in space-time back to a
previous existence, where they encounter other copies of themselves.
That's what tunnel diodes are for.
