Don't forget to place the vias then. :-)

The drawings on my site were done with some old version of Corel
(4 or 5), but now I use XFig (VCA3 is the only thing on the site done 
with that.) With cut-and-paste and a conveniently configured grid and 
the snap to grid functions it makes drawing pretty easy. Especially 
because you can draw weird things on the fly.
