Hello all,

I was the one that asked the question and started the discussion about
Futurlec Electronics a couple of weeks ago. My order finally arrived today
and here are my observations if you are interested in ordering from them:

1.) I placed the order on Aug 23rd and it just arrived today May 17th.
2.) The package apparently originated from Thailand.
3.) I received everything I ordered...yes even some CA3046 ICs for 40 cents
each.
4.) It appears that their inventory is based on surplus. I order 8
different values of their horizontal trimpots for 15 cents each but only one
of the values matches the picture shown on the web sight. The rest are 3
different styles including the cheap little phenolic ones with the metal
ring adjustment. This was dissapointing!
5.) I ordered a large assortment of CMOS ICs and they are all 1990s
vintage.
6.) I order 3mm and 5mm blue LEDs for 40 cents each...they are very nice!
7.) Overall I would say that I am about 90% pleased with what I received,
but not pleased with the lack of information about order status and length
of time to ship the order. Once the order was shipped I received it in 7
days via US Postal Service.
8.) Summary: You can't beat the prices, ordering can be frustrating, you
may not get what is pictured on the web sight, they do deliver in the end!

I hope this helps future buyers...

- Tim
