So, generally speaking, are mica caps good for use in the audio path?   An
example would be decoupling between stages, etc?  I know some people get
very fussy about the "sound" of various types of caps, with ceramics being
a "bad" choice for the audio path.

The reason I ask is because there's a surplus store nearby that has quite a
few mica caps. I've been reluctant to buy them since I don't know much
about them.  If they are generally as good as a mylar cap in the audio
path, than I should pick some up!!!  They are available at a very good
price...
