There's no "one size fits all" answer, at least in my experience. It's
best to look at the specsheets for the parts and figure it out from there.
If you're like me and buy cheapassed bargain-bin parts, then you need
to measure 'em.
There's nothing worse than drilling a big panel and then realising that
you've made one assumption too many. :=(
