I'm not so sure that LFO will give you fidelity you might want for audio
range applications as a sound source. For an FM source, it should be cool
though.  On top of that, there's no VC in that circuit, is there?

Just replace the cap with a smaller one and then you could pop in the
original one in parallel with this smaller value through a switch.
