hey now that you mention the 707 and dr110, i think you are also on the 707 
yahoo group, right?

i don't know anything about FETs. i've destroyed a few random ICs 
accidentally; the circuits worked again once i replaced them with parts from 
spare tama boards. there was a guy named Daryl on this list and AH who said 
he had been able to trigger the memory settings. he was planning to use it 
for open/closed hi hats and things like that. you might find some of his 
posts in the AH and SDIY archives. he also made a tri-sine waveshaper out of 
the emphasis circuit.

noise modulation sounds like a great idea, i wonder why it didn't work?

one thing i'd like to figure out is how to make the clap's tune range wider.
