You could take a look at what I did for my Jen:

You can probably ignore the keyboard scanning part of the software and  
just look at
the oscillator control code.  IIRC (its been a while since I last  
looked at it!),
it is highest note priority, and maintains a stack of notes eight deep,  
so you can
do high-note trills.
