400nm is the top end of human sight, these LEDs are NOT purple but UV.
Well actually, 410 is still Violet but might hurt your eyes anyways!!
There is no single wave length for purple, its a mixture of (ultra) violet
and red.
You don't see much difference between the two types cause your eyes can't
handle the UV frequencies.
Its thanks to the red by product you see these leds shine at all.
The LEDs are actually much brighter than you perceive and harmful for your
eyes.
For this reason the 410nm LED are highly suspect, 380nm are guilty as hell.
Don't take my word on it, go ask a eye physician about looking at UV with
the naked eye.
