[sdiy] Making / repairing a keytop ??

Anybody ever tried using the "bake to harden" moldable polymers like Fimo or
Sculpey? (I sound like an arts & crafts guy, lately!) They are like modeling
clay but then you can bake it to harden it.
You could probably use it to fill in the gaps in the broken key.
And there's always Bondo, used for car body repairs, as well as Plastic Wood
(TM).
