Like most EFM products, the bassace board has a few faults that need to be
corrected. Nothing really major. I'm actually in the middle of reworking
mine a bit. One nice thing about the bassace is it really is just a VCO,
VFO, and VCA module put on one board, so its insanely easy to look at the
schematic and bring all the patch points out. I'm doing patch points that
will normalize to normal bassace operation, but will also let me patch in a
pair of VCO4D's that I have finally assembled.

I'm kinda thinking it'll be like a Prodigy with 3 oscillators, which is
kinda cool.

In any case, if you got the bassace board from him, also order the tempco.
Everything else is easy to source. I dont know how much building experience
you have, if you are looking for something a bit easier to assemble but
still dont mind sourcing your own parts, check out the Tomcat. All on one
board, real real easy to assemble. If TomG made up front panels and a good
assembly manual I really think it'd be the Preferred First DIY synth over
the Fatman...
