[sdiy] Cleaning question and felt question

Actually 100% Isopropyl is better....one place I used to work would fill an 
ultrasonic cleaner up with Isopropl and dump the whole board in, never 
seemed to cause a problem....

HOwEver.....

         If we are talking about newly constructed boards here, I would, if 
I were you, investigate the use of Organic Flux Core Solder.  Kester 331 is 
the one I prefer.  When you use this solder, you can clean the board up 
simply and quickly with warm water.  It also helps if you have an air 
compressor, I like to blow the water off the board after washing so I don't 
get any mineral deposites.

On the above link, you can see some of my thoughts on Kester 331.  This is 
the only solder I use now for soldering printed circuit boards.  Never use 
Kester 331, however, for soldering insulated wire.....
