[sdiy] Organizing Components

I keep resistors, capacitors, transistors, diodes in matchboxes. I don't
know
if they are the same everywhere, but they are OK for most thru-hole stuff.
I have about 300 of them glued together into 4 'clusters'

larger stuff, like big electrolytics, knobs, displays, jacks etc in small
plastic drawers.

ICs - big quantities in their origal tubes, individual ones in conductive
foam
and cardboard boxes.

The SMD stuff:
discretes - in small plastic containers with caps called here 'ependorf'
from
medical shop. They are 1cm in diameter and 4cm high. Held in piece of
styrofoam (conductive one would be better tho) with holes.

ICs - I made nice small box with plywood. Conductive foil and foam
create small compartments inside.

and there's a drawer full of random stuff, it's unavoidable to have space
like that.
