It seems that some of us gather interests in experimental instruments more 
than the others.

A friend of mine is trying to make a MIDI Theremin project. I have some nice 
mails with him about the purpose of such an instrument.

I suppose the intention of a Midified Theremin is to play other sound sources 
(synthesizer ?). Or did you make your Theremin able to be played from a 
midisequencer ? That's would cheating ;)

As far as i am concerned, i have a PAIA Theremax, but i am thinking about 
making a new one, either IR based device or either a crude "capacitive CV 
generator" (and i would use it to play my modular), like this design:

Does someone how sensitive this device would be ?
