SV: [sdiy] simple sequencer?

Or you could try the old ETI project:
http://www.itn.liu.se/~nikro/diy/sequencer/eti603.pdf
You can find a better pcb here (well, it's the original layout, but in
better quality):
http://www.itn.liu.se/~nikro/diy/sequencer/pcb.pdf

I made some mods to it (but not particularly clever...) and there are some
photos here:

The project is fairly simple, and you can do many mods to it. Try it and
you'll learn a lot!

Best regards

/Niklas

If you want a simple midi/cv, this will be a weird suggestion but look at
the Tomcat on http://www.ele4music.com/kits.html, $34 for the board and PIC
and you could just stuff enough to make the midi/cv work although its
simple
enough to just stuff the whole thing.

For an all-analog unit, I cant suggest a place with a board but look at the
Seq2a schematic on on ele4music, or look at http://www.midwest-analog.com
and grab Thomas Henry's reprint book which has the SuperSeque ( which looks
to be what Tom based the Seq2a on ). This is a 4516 based sequencer, 16
step but you could always ignore 8 steps worth of parts if you wanted.
