Well, it is a pretty crappy chip, only really suitable for cheezy sound effects 
and basic percussion. Actually, I prefer BBDs, at least you get something 
unique out of them for their cost in noise.

I'm saving what few 76477s I have to retire on, hopefully they'll hit $1K each 
in a few more years ;-)=
