[sdiy] another solution to chroma polaris ribbon connectors?

 ok heres an idea i though of. what do you guys think of the idea of taping 
low gauge wires to the ribbon and then attaching that to the connectors? 
thinking of trying. these ribbons are so damned brittle! im afraid of breaking them, 
and the one is sor tof on the short side. something is not connecting.
