I thought of a new advertising gimmick for companies like Blacet. In all of
their advertisements, they should print small icons near the prices of the
equipment. These icons could be in the shape of designer stilettos, diamond
rings, pearl necklaces, all the traditional items that men might buy for
their wives, after buying a lot of synth gear. The idea is for the wife to
not see the actual price of the synth gear, but to notice the three shoe
icons next to the price, and exclaim something like: "Oh honey why don't
you get this module? According to this, I could get three pairs of designer
shoes for that money!" Of course, Blacet doesn't provide the shoes. That's
up to the husband. The icons are just a reminder to the wife that if the
husband buys module-X, she can expect to wrangle the items depicted in the
icons, out of her husband and his wallet. ;)

Think it would help Blacet's (and others) synth sales? :)

Glen
