[sdiy] Mess and the Y Chomosome ?

Interesting that we haven't heard from the women (woman?) here.  Is this a
Y chromosome thing?  I realize that the Y chromosome is a shorter version
of the X.  Perhaps the neat-freak genes are only on the X chromosomes and
because women have 2, they are expressed as dominant?  And how did this
help the evolution of the species?  Darwin says that any mutation or
genetic change that benefits a life form's ability to feed itself and to
breed will allow that change to become more prolific through better
nutrition and more progeny.  How does this work here???
