Hand up! That would have been me who said it. I didn't originate this knowledge
thought, but I am happy to pass it on and verify it. I think I should pass the
credit/blame on Mattias Rickardsson for mentioning this to me. I'm sure this
have been discussed on and off for ages, but I haven't a recollection of it
other than possibly on this email-list.

Would you like to contribute a few patches (possibly with sound-track) where
you think the tri-based variant excells over the standard saw-based variant?
Kind of giving us a taste of why one would like to have it. I don't have a
tri-based PWM in the house to the best of my knowledge (I am however suspecting
a few boxes). I could build one quickly thought.
