I use Switchcraft 12A 1/4" jacks with CC-distance of 20 mm for 20 of the
signals and then I have 4 13A jacks (stereo) for 8 signals. Some signals was
left out at this time, but I think I will use additional CV inputs for a
sequencer thing that I will build into the lid of my box.
Actually, I have just wired one of my SEMs up to the jacks and have started to
wire up the other. I use the crimped contacts, different colored AWG22 cable
and tie the cables into bundles using waxed nylon (whatever the propper english
term is for it).
So, there is no buffers, but then most signals will be from within the box, so
it is only patching around on the same supply.
To start with I will be using a bunch of cables I got from a guitar-shop, 6
cables of different colours in a bag for a fair amount of money, so I took two
of those. I will make some additional cables and special purpose cables.
