[sdiy] making PCBs, what's your method?

Originally I used the Press N Peel blue sheets but they are just too expensive.
 I switched over to transparencies which is definately much easier to use AND
it's cheaper! I etch the boards using an etching tank that I built myself using
silicon adhesive caulk & plexiglass. I can etch a board now in 5 minutes using
an aquarium pump to agitate the solution. Aside from the ironing part, using a
perm ink pen to do very silght touchups (transparencies tend to work better than
the press N peels for me)  and the etching part, the results are almost instant.
