[sdiy] making PCBs, what's your method?

I make Gerber files with my pcb program... then send them to such places
as Advanced Circuits,
Imagineering Inc, or Accutrace Inc. and get protos for as lettle as $10
each (minimum 5, so the
total could be $60 with shipping).
The quality is excellent... that gets you a double sided, PTH with
soldermask and silkscreen.
Don't need five pieces ? Then OFFER them to other DIY'ers on list and let
them have some fun too...
(seriously, I used to work for a commercial concern that did PCBs in
house... making your own is
a royal pain in the @ss even if you have the material and equipment to do
so. Cheaper to mow lawns
and get the money for a professional job. If you HAVE money, then there
you go... :^)
