Yep!

Then I,  on the other hand,  have some background in messing around with 
synths (fixed 'em for a living for a while,  too),  a lifelong hobby interest 
in electronics,  and computers seeming to want to dominate things in the past 
several years.

I must have missed it,  or that was before I joined the list,  perhaps.  If 
you want to kick some of that stuff around I'd be interested.
