Never thought about the CD4008...but....

It seems to have even more limited availability than the 74HC283....

Mouser has the NTE replacement, only...at $3 each (ouch)....

Digikey has nothing (they say CALL).

And Jameco doesn't even have it listed...not to say you can't get it...but 
it certainly looks like it is not going to be easy....
