You might also try searching for "Panel Nuts." Mouser has a selection of US
thread panel nuts for pots and switches, but no metric items. Still, the
search term might turn up something you haven't seen before. In case anyone
is interested, the Mouser listing is at

and shows a selection of US thread panel nuts by Keystone (go to the bottom
of the page).
