Thanks! I'm enjoying it here already but the inbox is bulging more than
ever...

Naah, just need to do something else from time to time. But I've known
Eric Barbour for some time and doubt I can resist the temptation to check
out his tube VCF, VCA and VCO...eventually...

Mm...aren't there any chips that do this sort of thing? I must admit it's
something I haven't really looked into yet, but obviously if I could get a
CV for pitch along with trig/gate signals things would get interesting,
envelope follower maybe less so for flute. (If really synthing it up
anyway, trigging an EG seems more interesting.)

Thanks for the suggestion, I'll try to get in touch with him

I'm already on the Yahoo PolySix list (and some 6-7 other lists, this has
gotta do for now...too much mail flowing in)
Oh, btw, I'm helping this friend of mine move and he had to give some
stuff away, and I couldn't resist another tubed Tektronix scope (my
4th...), a pair of speakers, AND...a super cool Wavetek sweep generator
which is great for synth effects.
