Hello Ken,
I compared the datasheets.
They are not pin-for-pin replacement.
A PT2395 has 40 pins, but a M50195P has 36 pins.
However, from the block diagram and the application circuit,
the internal circuits seem almost identical except for
the length of memory that the chip can treat and the clock generator.
