Hello Glen,

Assuming that you're referring specifically to polyphonic instruments, the 
only one I can think of is the Memorymoog.  Six voices, three CEM3340 VCO's per 
voice.  If you're looking for some design inspiration, this is a good one to 
look at.  The voices are well-designed, sound great, and keep all modulation 
and envelopes in the analog realm.  The Memorymoog voices are a little like 
souped-up Minimoog voices (in terms of architecture, if not in sound).  I don't 
know if there are any MM schematics on the web, but a Google search might turn 
some up.
