is the k1 8-bit inside? i always thought it was 16-bit. that also explains
why some sounds sound like a mirage..;-) i like the k1, it has the
capability to layer really well in a mix. and some of its sounds, though
crappy as they are, actually sound cool when used well. i especially love
the very thin sounding strings and the digital bass..
i have an xd5 too, and funny enough it doesn't sound as 'cool' as the k1. it
has less 'oompf'..
