i just realized how what i said was completely different than what i
though... ive known about the ucapps one for a while, and was even going to
make one but found other things to do.

i actually meant a synth, based on the features of like... 80s technology,
so instead of a synth using a sid chip, how about an analog synth,
replicating the chip. old technology represented by older technology. an
analog version of a digitial synth?

now the idea just sounds kind of stupid.

oh, and making a synth based on a SID chip or basically any sound chip, is
just needing to know how to edit the registers and transmit notes to it.
basically as simple as programming a pic to recognize the midi ccs which
represent the registers.
