Although the description doesn't explicitly say it these all appear to be
switchable 1X/10X. Another thing they don't say is what the length of the
cable is, how slinky it is, etc. This is one area where you get what you
pay for. The last one I bought (for about $30) wasn't as long as my old Tek
probes but it's pretty flexible and came with all sorts of nice tip
adapters--the IC tip is a must-have if you don't like shorting out IC's.

You'll rarely use 1X unless you like loading down circuits.
