It's not easy to explain about it.

We use isolation transformer as B power. its cost is under $10 or so.
if we use transformer that has both output, B power and heater at
once, then its cost may be going to be double or so. Anyway, transformer
specialized for tube is so expensive and their variation is so short.
it's not easy to find good transformer for us from ready-made ones.

if we add the other transformer for heater then, we must get more big
case for the total set. But I also recommend that we should use big case for
heater transformer to avoid E-shock or something. I think that this methods
is not for beginners.

We can get hi rate (it's 250V) and big capacitor at local junk shop so
cheaply.
Not using item for tube lover is the one of the way to making cost down,
I think. Here in Japan, Tube is for old rich man's the hobby. they will
buy any parts in any prices. They need more glamoroussounds.

but we can get good sound in cheep cost, if we try not only new method but
also old methods. it's funny!!

Cheers!
