[sdiy] Glide circuit, how possible?

Hmmm... I was thinking more of the dithering idea, which I have admitted I
stole from Grant, so you can steal the Vactrol idea no problemo...

The voltage to current converter was just a way to control LED current...you
might use 'voltage' directly but it might be hard to control. A dual photocell
with one side used as feedback would make a respectable controller.

The dithering idea is to switch between adjacent resistors with the 4051...
the resulting "average" resistance would morph from one value to the next.
what this would do to the audio of the Wah pedal remains to be seen. A simple
test could be two resistors and a 4016 switch, modulated by an ultrasonic PWM
circuit.

This HAS been used to tune phasers and VCFs before, so it is do-able...but what
the
result is I don't know.
