Hi Allan
I need some clarification to help you.
You mentioned bank numbers going from 1 to 16
that would be 01 to 10 in hexadecimal.
Do the data lines output:
0000 to 1111 (0 to 15 dec) or 0001 to 1111 (1 to 15 dec).
I'm betting they output the former 0000 to 1111 (0 to 15 dec)
which will be 0 to F hex.
This can be done with two binary to seven segment displays that count from 0
to F. Go here:
