If you do the math you'll find that to absolutely avoid any aliasing 
into the audio band even in the presence of modulation you'd need to 
produce your signals at well into the tens of MHz range. There are few 
DSP that can handle this task and no PC can even approach that. There 
are methods to produce a bandlimited signal at lower sampling rate, but 
they are computationally intensive. Also, most if not all of them lose 
the property of being alias-free when modulated.
