The late Norman Crowhurst (passed away a few years ago) is probably
best known for his superb technical writing on issues of high fidelity
electronics, particularly vacuum-tube circuitry (although most of his
advice generalizes to more modern electronics quite nicely). This book
showed up recently in some research I was doing, and it's not exactly
common; I think that I found it using a worldwide database.
Although some of the material in the book might be a bit dated,
Crowhurst is a real authority, and you can't beat a price of 50 cents.
(File it away for historical value, I guess).
