Something very rare has happened. I found a book describing the technical
aspects of synthesizers at my local thrift store. It's title is "Electronic
Musical Instruments", and was written by Norman Crowhurst.
It's an older book, first published in 1971, and the most recent date
listed is 1974. It's pretty cool to look through and see what were
promising technologies at the time. For example, the Ondes Martinot and the
Ondioline were mentioned in a paragraph titled "MODERN DEVELOPMENTS".
Best of all, I bought it for only 50 cents. :)
Oddly enough, no one else in my family seems interested in this rare
thrift-store purchase, so I thought I would share the event with you. ;)
later,
Glen Berry
