Unfortunately not. A friend of mine had an experience with a mixer/PA 
combo, where some smart at ss (read previous owner) had "lifted" the 
protective earth. He was grounded through his guitar amp, and the 
microphone was sort-of-grounded to the floating GND potential of the 
console. Whenever he touched both the guitar strings and the mic, he got 
a mild zap.

Even if the thing was properly grounded, its still possible to plug it 
into another outlet, where there can be a voltage difference between the 
PE terminals.
