Howdy,
We'll this has to do with synths but the digital flavor.
The battery in my DX7II went dead and I opened it up to replace it. It has a
standard CR2032 litium cell which has no solder tabs. BUT! It looks like
they spot welded solder tabs on to it. I found some on the Digikey WEB site
with the same solder tabs but the mAh are about 1/4 that of the CR2032. I
also looked into putting in a battery holder but all the ones I could find
have 20mm lead spacing vs the 10mm the battery has.
So would someone have already done a replacement and have a sub?
The battery is a standard 20mm button cell in diameter with the solder tabs
about 10mm apart (edge to center). The CR2032 is rated at ~220mAh so
something better than that.
I could always kludge something up but want to avoid it if I can.
Thanks much.
Jay
