[sdiy] dual gate MOSFET for VCF/VCA ?

Hi

As someone tried to design a simple VCA or a VCF using dual gate 
MOSFETs as
transconductance cells ?

These trannies are currently used for RF, would them be usable for SDIY 
?
Are there some particular issues having to do with distortion or non 
linearities ?

It is an open question for Gurus. May be R.A; Pease wrote an enlightning
"What's all this dual gate MOSFETs stuff, anyhow?"  ?
