[sdiy] Hard Sync frequency ratios

I'm trying to get some design ideas together, and I don't have a synth
with me at the moment to do any listening experiments...

If you hard sync a pair of osc and you are sweeping the slave frequency
with an env for that classic 'sync sound', what range of frequency
ratios would you normally use?

For example sweeping from 4:1 down to 1:1
