Mr. Richter,
I would imagine that the language should be kept tight in the beginning.
There is a comment at the end of the document about modifying the code as
needed. This notation may well become a standard. You never know. In a few
years this may be the next MIDI...

Bill Sequeira has come up with a compact patch notation scheme for modular
synthesizers. It uses a hierarchical notation to uniquely identify knobs and
connections in systems and multi-modules.
