How about this one:
Replace each pot with a tandem (stereo) pot. The second half of the pot
just generates a voltage proportional to the pot setting (of course the
tandem pot is not required if the pot already does that). Build a cheap
digital voltmeter into the module (or synth) and a selector switch.
Then you can read each pot's setting quite accurately.
