Hi Ruud,
Taking in account the Vocaloid demo song that was on the Interface magazine
cd (you "might" be familiar with that publication) the target of the program
seemed to be realistic vocals and not weird noises.
The Japanese language demo was a typical singer songwriter track.
Don't think Vocaloid would replace real talent anytime soon.
But for some styles Vocaloid could be real competition for singers.
At least for back ground vocals vocaloid would do nicely.
Think for processed vocals you don't need the kind of quality this program
seems to deliver.
And yes I would use it too, although I prefer to work with a pretty female
singer ;-p
