My personal feeling FWIW is that some people are 'sharing' and some aren't,
when it comes to circuit diagrams or anything else.
looking at what Serge published & gave away when he was doing this stuff, I'd
say he was happy to share. 
I think the BIG mistake was handing the flag on to Rex.

But it is all 'water under the bridge', thanks to the "resergence" of 
Serge reverse engineering (and improvements!).
